What is Single-Opt-In (SOI)?
A single opt-in (SOI) is an email subscription process in which users are added to a list of emails immediately after submitting their email address. There is no confirmation step required when you use SOI. Overall, it enables faster list growth, but may increase incorrect addresses, spam complaints, and lower engagement. Also, it’s important to know that not everything is invalid; sometimes, businesses achieve better lead generation through this method.
