What is Header Bidding?
Header bidding is an advanced programmatic advertising technique where publishers offer ad inventory to multiple demand sources simultaneously, before making calls to their primary ad server. This allows them to maximize competition among advertisers, ensuring the highest possible bids.
In this method, the publisher’s website header contains a script that sends requests to various ad exchanges and networks. The highest bid is then passed to the ad server, enabling publishers to increase revenue while retaining control over their ad sales.
