What is GCLID?
GCLID stands for Google Click Identifier. It’s a special code that Google Ads adds to a URL when someone clicks on an ad. This code helps track important information about the ad click, like which campaign, keyword, or device led to the visit. GCLID allows Google Analytics and other tools to connect ad clicks to actions on your website, such as purchases or sign-ups. This helps advertisers measure how effective their ads are.
